IPBA Scholarship Applications 2011
Applications for young lawyers to attend the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA) 21st annual meeting and conference in Kyoto/Osaka from 21 to 24 April 2011 are now being accepted.
The Inter-Pacific Bar Association (formed in 1991) currently has more than 1,400 members from some 65 countries and is the pre-eminent legal association in the Asia Pacific region. The IPBA Scholarships were created in 1998 to honour the memory of M.S. Lin of Taipei, who was one of the founders and a Past President of the IPBA.
Preference will be given to those applicants who could not otherwise attend the conference, and who would benefit from attendance.
Visit the IPBA website for more information and to download an application form. Scholarship application forms must be received by the IPBA Secretariat in Tokyo by 31 October 2010. The IPBA Scholarship Committee plans to make decisions regarding recipients of the Scholarship in early 2011.
