Buddle Findlay named ALB Employer of Choice 2011

Buddle Findlay has again been named as Employer of Choice in the latest survey of Australasian law firms by legal publisher ALB, recognising the firm as one of the best law firms to work for in New Zealand.
The Employer of Choice survey is an ALB reader survey where respondents are asked to rate law firms by six criteria - compensation and benefits, knowledge management and IT, quality of work and clients, work/life balance, professional development and training, and strongest employment brand.
Buddle Findlay's National Chairman, Peter Chemis, says the firm has always regarded its people as a top priority. "We are delighted to be acknowledged once again as one of New Zealand's great places to work. Buddle Findlay places a strong emphasis on challenging its people, giving them opportunities and support so that they can succeed at the very highest level," he states.
"We expect our lawyers to become leaders in their field and to play a leadership role in the firm, whatever their age or level of experience - and this plays its part in making Buddle Findlay a great place to work," he adds.
