  • Advising Sky Television on commercial and regulatory issues related to the radio spectrum including renewal of its UHF licences, conversion of its licences to digital use, arrangements with the Maori Television Service, and licensing satellite services
  • Advising on standards for electromagnetic radiation and the licensing of radiocommunications equipment
  • Advising Telecom New Zealand on the conduct of the 2 GHz radio spectrum auction
  • Advising Ministry of Commerce on the rules under which internet radio spectrum auctions are conducted
  • Assisting Formus Communications to acquire radio frequencies for LMDS in the first internet auction
  • Advising Radio New Zealand on interference issues arising from transmissions from Auckland Sky Tower
  • Assisted Ministry of Economic Development with formulation of Radiocommunications Amendment Act 2000
