Frank is a senior partner in our Auckland office and advises local and foreign financial institutions on financing as well as major acquisitions within that sector.
Of recent times Frank has advised GE Capital on the acquisition of over NZ$100 million commercial loan assets from FACE Finance, a subsidiary of South Canterbury Finance (in Receivership) and GE Money on the sale of NZ$1 billion of residential mortgages as part of the exit of GE Money from the New Zealand residential mortgage market. He has also advised Export-Import Bank of the United States, Citibank, N.A., the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi and Toronto Dominion Bank on the financing of new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft for Air New Zealand.
Frank is one of New Zealand's leading aircraft financing and leasing lawyers and recently worked with the New Zealand Ministries of Transport and Economic Development on the legislative changes to implement New Zealand's adoption of Cape Town Convention and Aircraft Protocol.
Frank has published many articles and written chapters for books on aircraft financing and related areas.
