He advises on statutory compliance issues raised by Resource Management Act, Building Act, Fair Trading Act, Commerce Act, Securities Act, Consumer Guarantees Act, Companies Act, Local Government Act and Overseas Investments Act.
John acts on a wide range of sales and purchases and commercial property, subdivisions, leases and financing and security arrangements, including work for Christchurch International Airport and various private developers.
John has an interest in sports law, having been an All Black and playing 100 games for Canterbury.
