Jonathan is a health law and litigation specialist.  His practice areas include all areas of health law, personal injury, administrative law, the interface between health law and employment law, and general civil and commercial litigation.  He advises District Health Boards, private health providers, professional registration authorities, insurers, professional indemnity organisations, professional associations, Crown entities, corporates and statutory bodies.  He regularly represents clients before the full range of Courts and Tribunals.

Jonathan has a PhD in Health Law, a MA in Medical Law and Medical Ethics (Distinction), and speaks and writes widely on health law issues.
