Kelly is a member of the Christchurch commercial litigation team. She advises on a wide range of commercial litigation issues, including contract disputes, insolvency and credit recovery, local government issues, property law disputes and security enforcement.
Kelly has appeared in the District Court, High Court and Court of Appeal, as well as Tribunal and Arbitration hearings. Kelly regularly acts for receivers and liquidators and assists with complicated receiverships and pursuing claims against directors of insolvent companies for breaches of directors’ duties.
Kelly has recently successfully argued proceedings for recovery of land, an application for an urgent interim injunction, strike-out applications and defended liquidation proceedings.
Kelly is a member of INSOL.
