Rachel is a member of our litigation team and specialises in employment law.

She advises corporate clients on a range of issues, including dismissal and performance management, redundancy processes, drafting and reviewing employment and independent contractor arrangements, and discrimination and privacy advice.  She regularly represents clients in mediations and in the Employment Relations Authority. 

Rachel has specialised in employment law for a number of years, not only in New Zealand but also in the United Kingdom where she worked for 5 years in the London office of a large international law firm.  There she gained high level experience over a number of jurisdictions, including international transfer of undertakings, negotiating senior executive terminations, restructuring, whistle blowing and restraint of trade litigation.

Rachel has a particular interest in the commercial aspects of employment law and regularly assists clients on mergers, acquisitions and restructurings.
