Simon is a senior corporate partner in the Auckland office.
Simon acts for a variety of listed companies, corporate clients and private equity firms. He provides corporate, commercial and securities law advice, advises on mergers and acquisitions and other transactional work, and assists clients with capital raisings.

- Acting for Olam International on its 2010 and 2011 takeover offers for NZ Farming Systems Uruguay
- Acting for Nestlé Health Sciences on the acquisition of its stake in Vital Foods
- Acting for HRL Morrison & Co on the acquisition of its increased stake in Infratil
- Acting for Waco on New Zealand aspects of the sale of Ausco Modular to TPG
- Acting for Avenport on the acquisition of its majority stakes in Sealegs and Samoa Water
- Acting for Suntory on its acquisition of Frucor
- Acting for ITOCHU and Daiken on Daiken New Zealand's acquisition of Carter Holt Harvey's Rangiora MDF Plant
