Susan is a senior associate in our Christchurch litigation team with expertise in commercial litigation, insurance and employment law.
Susan provides specialist advice on insolvency, creditors remedies, contract disputes and judicial review. Susan currently advises clients on policy interpretation issues and disputed material damage and business interruption claims arising out of the Canterbury earthquakes.
Susan has extensive experience in dispute resolution and has appeared before a range of Courts and Tribunals in New Zealand and Australia, and at arbitrations and mediations.
Susan also specialises in employment law and advises public sector, corporate and individual clients on a wide range of employment issues. She has represented clients in the Employment Relations Authority and Employment Court.
Susan is a member of INSOL and sits on the Canterbury District Law Society Employment Law Committee.
