Accounts assistant - Finance

An opportunity has become available for an accounts assistant to join our finance team in Auckland.  The position has arisen to cover upcoming parental leave for 12 months.    

This role primarily assists with time sensitive settlements.  The role will also provide accounts support to partners and staff in all three offices including answering billing enquiries, dealing with foreign currency transactions and general practice management system and AML support.  You will also assist the local and national finance teams as and when required.

  • Strong self-management skills and be able to work unsupervised
  • A can-do attitude, an aptitude for figures, a good eye for detail and a high level of professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of computerised accounts systems, reconciliations, and banking transactions, along with exceptional Excel skills
  • Previous experience working in finance, banking or within a legal office would also be beneficial.
