Accounts assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our team in Auckland.  This role will provide national debtor recovery services for Buddle Findlay, requiring liaison with clients, partners and staff to resolve debtor issues and queries, responsibility for daily cheque banking and receipting, and preparing monthly debtor statements.  In addition you will be providing accounts support to partners and staff in all three offices including answering billing enquiries, assisting with settlements, and foreign currency purchases and transactions.  You will also assist the local and national finance teams as and when required.

You will be part of a tight-knit, supportive team who need someone with the right attitude, an aptitude for figures, a good eye for detail and a high level of professional written and verbal communication skills.  Ideally you will come from a professional services background, with previous experience working in finance, credit control, banking or within a legal office.

This role is for 30 hours a week.  Ideally your hours will be 9:30am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday, however some flexibility will be required with additional hours to be worked at peak times.
