Barista and food prep - fixed term contract

We are currently on the lookout for a talented food and beverage coordinator to support our resident chef and Client Services team.  This exciting opportunity is for a fixed term period of up to seven months cover.

This is no ordinary role!  One minute you'll be baking goods for the day's meetings and events and preparing and serving perfect barista coffee the next you'll be preparing canapés for in-house events, seminars and team meetings.  You will be required to assist with stocking kitchens, placing orders, clearing dishes from the meeting rooms, and taking care of all kitchen administrative tasks.

To deliver on our high standards of service you must be:

  • Able to handle pressure
  • Capable of maintaining our kitchen standards including dishwashing
  • Well groomed
  • Energetic
  • Have a passion for food and people
  • Able to create a memorable experience for the firms' external and internal clients throughout all interactions.

Previous experience in food preparation is essential and barista training preferred.  Standard hours of work are 7.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday with some flexibility in order to assist with after-hours functions.
