Training manager

We are looking for a training manager who is an IT/software specialist ready to roll up their sleeves and make recommendations for change – taking our training offering to the next level.

The national training manager will play an integral role within the IT team to grow the firm's training programme, recommend changes and apply modern training techniques to all they do.  You will lead a national team with a trainer in both Auckland and Wellington, identify new opportunities and deliver on-going skills training to support growth and development across the firm nationally.

Your commitment to creating proactive and long-term relationships, providing positive interactions with new joiners, employees and other stakeholders by walking the floor and talking to people, and your strong sense of urgency, will see you thrive as the training manager in a busy and fun environment.

This role goes beyond training.  You will think creatively, be committed to the long game and will value long term relationships, creative thinking and adaptability over process.  You will pride yourself on your flexibility and ability to deliver to the changing needs of the firm.  You will be innovative and impactful in how you and your team deliver training nationally.

You will support the IT team to deliver "help desk" software support and provide training on Laptops along with key projects whilst having an opportunity to work on new initiatives to help make Buddle Findlay an even better place to work.

To be successful in this role you will be an expert in the Microsoft Office suite or hold Microsoft Office Specialist certification (preferred).  You may be a regional training manager looking for a national leadership opportunity.  Your strength will be in your flexibility and ability to adapt to the needs of the day and find workable, creative solutions.
