Personal services

Buddle Findlay continues to maintain its place as one of the few full service national law firms advising individuals on personal property matters.  We have a dedicated team of specialists who advise on a range of personal property matters.  We regularly advise on residential property sales and purchases and other land conveyancing, asset planning using wills, trusts, companies and other entities, the ongoing administration of trusts and estates and the law relating to the elderly (including powers of attorney).

Our personal services team also act on the sale and acquisition of small businesses (and any associated structuring and financing), provide relationship property advice (both when relationships end and as part of asset protection planning) and assist in the establishment of charitable trusts.

Our personal property clients include individuals, trustees of private and charitable trusts, directors of companies and owners of different types of businesses.

Our personal services team includes Notary Public Wayne Chapman, who is authorised to certify documents and swear affidavits for recognition in all overseas countries. Wayne also sits on The Lawyers and Conveyancers Disciplinary Tribunal. The team also includes legal executives and is assisted by other members of the wider property team.
