We understand the practical demands and issues facing the different parties to any infrastructure development. We work with sponsors, government, contractors, developers and financiers at every stage of a project. From the initial concept through to consents, construction, financing and completion and commissioning, we can help all parties achieve successful outcomes and manage the risks inherent in any infrastructure development.
Our team has worked on structuring, funding and implementation of a wide variety of major infrastructure projects both in New Zealand and overseas particularly in the local government, telecommunications, energy, health, transport and water sectors.
We regularly advise clients on optimal legal structuring for project contracting, project financing, regulatory issues (including planning and resource consents), drafting and negotiating concession agreements, tender documents, construction contracts and other project documents, land rights, project implementation and dispute management and resolution.
