Julia specialises in transactional banking with a focus on property finance and syndicated lending. She also has experience in restructuring and advises banks and insolvency professionals on distressed debt solutions and enforcement of security.
Julia has acted for a number of major New Zealand banks on transactions including drafting loan facility and security documents. She has also gained in-house experience dealing with a range of issues that affect financial institutions during her secondments to Bank of New Zealand, GE Capital and Latitude.
Julia has a Masters of Law (LL.M. commercial law) and is also fully qualified as a lawyer in Germany, where she worked in corporate insolvency law and insolvency administration.
