Buddle Findlay partners Nick Bragg, Sarah McEwan and Miriam Andrews are leading a team advising Infratil on all legal aspects of its acquisition of Brookfield's 49.95% shareholding in the ultimate holding company of One NZ.
Infratil announced on 7 June that it has executed an agreement with Brookfield Asset Management to acquire Brookfield’s 49.95% stake in One NZ for NZ$1.8b, increasing Infratil ownership from 49.95% to 99.9% (0.1% is held by One NZ management).
The transaction is unconditional and expected to complete shortly.
