Since November 2016, Buddle Findlay has been a national sponsor of the Halberg Foundation (the foundation) and we are delighted to announce that we are extending our support for another three years. Buddle Findlay has built a very strong relationship with the foundation which has offered us opportunities to explore additional, mutually beneficial experiences and ways to give back to the disabled community.
One such example was the highly successful Buddle Findlay & Halberg Career Experience programme. The programme offered three Halberg Youth Council members the opportunity to work in one of our offices for a period of one week, but more so, offered staff the opportunity to learn how best to include people with a disability into our workforce. We will continue with this programme and offer more of their council members valuable work experience opportunities, either within our firm or with our clients, which will assist them in finding employment once they complete their university studies.
We continually strive to be a more inclusive and diverse firm and we see our relationship with the foundation as a great benefit to assist us on this journey.
