Buddle Findlay is proud to support Forever Forests on their New Zealand native restoration project, Cattle Flat Station. We recently purchased carbon credits through this project to offset our 2023 CO2 emissions.
Cattle Flat Station is a vast high-country farm located in northern Southland with extensive native vegetation amongst pasture and farmed areas.
Natural seed dispersal from neighbouring DOC land has facilitated native regeneration on the farm in hard-to-reach areas. Pest eradication and forest management have created a protected environment, resulting in over 400 hectares of regenerating native forest, which will continue to be promoted and protected.
Through this project, not only are we ensuring the revival and preservation of our native forest but also significantly contributing to the reduction of our carbon footprint.
