We are pleased to announce the appointment of three new partners and five new senior associates.

Partners

Miriam Andrews is a member of the banking and financial services team.  Miriam has legal and commercial experience in portfolio sales and acquisitions, syndicated loans, property finance, agri-funding and acquisition finance.  Nick Bragg specialises in corporate and commercial law with considerable experience across a broad range of mergers and acquisitions (including takeovers), capital markets and securities transactions, commercial contracts and corporate governance matters.  Amy Ryburn specialises in technology, media and telecommunications (TMT), commercial contracting and procurement.  Amy works with a range of clients from listed companies, large SOEs and government departments to startups, with a particular focus on large-scale ICT project work (from initial procurement phases through to contract drafting and negotiation).

Senior Associates

Andrew Comer has joined the Auckland office and specialises in corporate and commercial law.  Andrew advises on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, consumer law, capital markets, corporate governance, company administration and general corporate advisory matters.  Keri Johansson specialises in IP, technology and media law.  She advises on commercial and technology contracts, protection and commercialisation of IP, broadcasting and TV production, consumer law and data protection.  Jonathan Simons specialises in commercial property law.  He advises on all aspects of commercial property matters including leasing, acquisitions, divestments, development financing, due diligence investigations and subdivision of land.  Rishalat Khan specialises in corporate, commercial and aviation law.  She advises various participants in the financial services sector on matters including mergers and acquisitions and regulatory compliance, and has particular expertise in aircraft financing and leasing.  Anna Bloomfield specialises in civil and commercial litigation and dispute resolution.  She advises on contractual disputes, company law, Fair Trading Act claims, trust law, negligence, public law, insolvency and debt recovery, and defamation and has a particular interest in cross-border disputes.
