Eilís specialises in civil litigation and dispute resolution.  She has appeared on behalf of clients in the Court of Appeal, High Court and Family Court.  

She is experienced in assisting and advising clients on a wide range of matters from complex commercial and construction disputes to contentious trust and estates.

Eilís contributed a chapter titled 'The Protection of Māori Knowledge and Culture in the Proposed Kermadec Ocean Sanctuary Bill' to the book Waking the Taniwha: Māori Governance in the 21st Century (Robert Joseph and Richard Benton (eds), Thomson Reuters, 2021).
