The most recent issue of Australasian Lawyer magazine ran a feature titled "Women to watch" which profiled 50 women, in six categories, who are making their mark on the Australian and New Zealand legal market.
Of only eight New Zealand women named, two were Buddle Findlay partners.
Laura O'Gorman (former partner) was named in the Leading the profession category for being a user and proponent of electronic bundle technology and further assisting the Rules Committee with drafting a suitable protocol for the profession. Laura is now an appointed member of the Rules Committee.
Jennifer Caldwell was named in the Expert in their field category, for her local government sector practice. Her work leading the firm's pitch for both Auckland Council and Christchurch City Council were cited, as was her role as principal adviser in the Proposed Auckland Unitary Plan Process.
