Bridgette White, senior associate at Buddle Findlay was interviewed by the NBR. The Serious Fraud Office have closed an investigation involving Zespri, a kiwifruit marketer, after four years. They concluded that "it couldn't meet the evidential threshold to bring charge". Bridgette says, "irrespective of the outcome in Zespri, the question has to be asked about the limitation period for financial or white collar crimes".
