Buddle Findlay is pleased to announce the appointment of new partners Sarah McEwan and Tom Bennett from 1 January 2019.
Sarah is a member of the Auckland corporate and commercial team, and specialises in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and securities transactions. Prior to joining Buddle Findlay in 2017, Sarah worked as a transaction director in the capital markets and loan execution team of one of New Zealand's largest banks. Sarah has also spent several years working at another major New Zealand law firm and in both private practice and in-house roles in London.
Tom joins the Auckland property team as a partner specialising in real estate, construction, procurement and local government. Tom’s work covers both public and private sector clients. His construction experience includes various national and international standard forms, as well as Public Works Act compulsory acquisition, real estate (acquisition, disposal, subdivision and development), and overseas investment.
Both appointments reflect Buddle Findlay's continued investment in and growth of the firm.
