Jina specialises in banking and finance law with a particular focus on property finance.  She also advises on a range of commercial property matters including property acquisition and disposal, commercial leasing and property developments.  She also has experience in corporate and commercial law with a particular focus on drafting and advising on various types of commercial contracts.

Jina's experience includes practice in both the New Zealand and Southeast Asian markets.

Assisted a Korean government organisation

with due diligence on a mixed use development project in Auckland involving construction of 1,300 apartment units and a commercial complex

Assisted banks and various finance companies in New Zealand

with, and advising on, their lending to their customers, typically related to property transactions and land developments, including drafting and reviewing all loan facility documents as well as advising on enforcement action

Advising numerous clients

with regard to acquisition and disposal of residential and commercial properties and sale and purchase related due diligence projects

Advising numerous clients

on commercial leasing including any lease disputes

Advising domestic reporting entities

in relation to their obligations under the AML/CFT Act in New Zealand and assisting with training and implementation of policies, procedures and controls
