Buddle Findlay advised Mike Ballantyne and other vendors on the sale of Online Republic to ASX listed Webjet for NZ$85m, made up of shares in Webjet and cash raised through a rights issue. Online Republic is a market leading, global travel ecommerce group, headquartered in Auckland which employs staff across New Zealand, Australia, China and the Philippines. It is the largest online motorhome booking agent in the world, largest online cruise booking agent in New Zealand and Australia and second largest car rental booking agent in New Zealand and Australia.
