Chris specialises in retail and commercial leasing, and the acquisition and disposal of real estate.  Chris has worked for significant periods both in-house and in private practice.  He spent nine years at another leading New Zealand law firm before holding a senior legal role at NZX-listed Kiwi Property Group for nearly a decade.

Chris has acted for many of New Zealand's leading property owners and developers, as well as overseas investors. He has a broad range of experience on complex and high-value transactions and brings a strong client-side perspective to his work.

on its leasing arrangements for the HSBC Tower (formerly the PricewaterhouseCoopers Tower) and other office towers

Advising on various matters relating to Kiwi Property Group’s major greenfield development at Drury

including the sale of land to Costco, Briscoes, and Harvey Norman

Northlands Shopping Centre in Christchurch for NZ$160m, the Plaza Shopping Centre in Palmerston North for NZ$118m, and ASB North Wharf in Auckland for NZ$205m
