Ryan specialises in corporate and commercial law.  He advises clients on a range of matters, including commercial contracts, procurement, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance. 

Ryan has broad corporate and commercial experience, having worked in the corporate team at Herbert Smith Freehills in London and at Bell Gully in Auckland.

In addition to his private practice experience, Ryan has extensive in-house experience in the FMCG, manufacturing and building supplies industries having previously worked in the legal teams at Woolworths New Zealand, Fisher & Paykel Healthcare and, prior to joining Buddle Findlay, Carters Building Supplies where he was General Counsel.
