Buddle Findlay is delighted to have advised Vodafone New Zealand on its conditional transaction to acquire a majority shareholding in specialist cyber security and resilience business DEFEND, as announced by Vodafone on 25 February 2022: Vodafone New Zealand announces significant investment in leading cyber security firm DEFEND.

The transaction remains subject to certain conditions and approvals (including OIO) with completion expected to occur around the end of April 2022.
