Buddle Findlay is pleased to have advised NZX/ASX listed Gentrack Group Limited in connection with its acquisition of New Zealand-founded Prospero Energy Limited (trading as Factor), a SaaS business within the energy retail sector. The acquisition delivers significant strategic value for Gentrack by integrating Factor's advanced pricing and forecasting capabilities into its g2 energy retail platform, strengthening Gentrack's competitive position, and is squarely aligned with Gentrack's stated strategy of deepening its platform capability across the energy value chain.
