Buddle Findlay, together with KPMG New Zealand is pleased to have advised CNZ Group on its sale to McLarens.
CNZ Group is one of the largest multi-discipline full service loss adjusting, claims and repair management businesses in New Zealand and has more than 200 employees and 26 offices nationwide. McLarens is a leading global independent insurance services provider with offices and operations in 40 countries.
The acquisition means CNZ Group will become part of McLarens' global core loss adjusting and claims management services operating under the McLarens brand.
Buddle Findlay advised CNZ Group on all legal aspects of its global sale process, having advised the group in New Zealand for around 14 years.
The Buddle Findlay team was led by David Thomson and Andy Martin, and included Sarah McEwan, Lisette Hood and Tony Wilkinson. The team worked closely with the board of CNZ Group and with the KPMG Corporate Finance team on the sale. McLarens was advised by Chapman Tripp (led by Josh Pringle and Jeremy Gray) and Grant Thornton.
